I have been freelance since 2011, when I left a full-time position with Bloomberg News in London to move into the commercial and corporate world. My freelance work over the past 12-years has seen me shoot nearly everything you could think of including documentary, branded content, corporate, events, music videos, promos, talking heads, broadcast, sports and commercials for a huge range of clients and sectors, both here in the UK and abroad.
I come from a technical operations background, with much of my initial experience in studio productions and live TV, which has given me a great founding for the work I do today as a Self-Shooting Director, DOP, Camera Operator and Editor.
I’ve been lucky enough to work with some fantastic brands over the years including Adidas, Oakley, Vodafone, Amex, Mastercard, Samsung, Goodwood, Dazn, Nokia, Visit Essex, Omaze, Barco, Eat Natural, Aspall, IG, Fitness First, Motorola, MG, NHS, Oracle and British Gas to name just a few.
My work these days see me working on a variety of projects, from small projects as a Self-Shooting Producer/Director to large scale promos and TV commercials heading up a 9-10 person production team.
I also have a A2 CofC drone license, which allows me to fly drones upto 2kg in weight under CAA regulations. See my drone work here…
I’m based in sleepy Suffolk, near to Framlingham but my work takes me all over the world, from Brighton to Beijing, and I’ve been lucky enough to have seen some amazing places and meet so many inspirational people along the way. I have easy access to East Anglia, London, South East, Surrey, Midlands and Home Counties.
I am happy traveling abroad for shoots, either with or without kit and am used to dealing with Carnets and Customs documents, as well as packing light for air-travel. Previous countries I’ve worked in include China, US, Mexico, Australia, France, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Czech Republic, Portugal, Qatar and Denmark.
I currently hold a valid iVisa (Media Visa) for undertaking work in the United States.

I have a number of accounts with hire companies across the UK, as well as a really strong pool of trusted and reliable freelancers I work with including 1st ACs, Camera Operators, Assistants, Sound Recordists, Grips and Gaffers and am happy to arrange and provide my own crew if required.
